Go Play Northwest 2009 will be held at the Freehold Theatre in the Belltown neighborhood of downtown Seattle. The theatre offers three rooms with plenty of space for games, plus the hallway's comfy chairs provide a chillout space.

Belltown is one of Seattle's oldest neighborhoods, extending from the center of downtown northwest along the waterfront to the Seattle Center (where the Space Needle is) and lower Queen Anne. It features numerous restaurants and bars, boutiques, and galleries.

The theatre is between Bell Street and Blanchard Street, closer to Blanchard Street. Note that Second Avenue is one-way (roughly) southbound. On-street parking is hard to find and parking lots tend to be expensive; see the Transportation and Parking page for more information and alternatives to driving.

Driving Directions
From SeaTac International Airport and all points south of Seattle:

• Take I-5 northbound toward Seattle
• Take exit 165 on the left side to Seneca Street
• Turn right onto Fourth Avenue
• Proceed about .7 miles north on Fourth Avenue to Bell Street
• Turn left onto Bell Street and proceed two blocks to Second Avenue
• Turn left onto Second Avenue; the Freehold Theatre will be on the left side

From Vancouver B.C. and all points north of Seattle:

• Take I-5 southbound toward Seattle
• Take exit 165B onto Union Street
• Turn right onto Fourth Avenue
• Proceed about .7 miles north on Fourth Avenue to Bell Street
• Turn left onto Bell Street and proceed two blocks to Second Avenue
• Turn left onto Second Avenue; the Freehold Theatre will be on the left side

From Bellevue and all points east of Seattle:

• Take I-90 westbound toward Seattle
• Take exit 2C for I-5 N toward Vancouver B.C.
• Follow the signs for Madison Street and merge onto Seventh Avenue
• Turn left at Seneca Street
• Turn right onto Fourth Avenue
• Proceed about .7 miles north on Fourth Avenue to Bell Street
• Turn left onto Bell Street and proceed two blocks to Second Avenue
• Turn left onto Second Avenue; the Freehold Theatre will be on the left side
